Alex Kidd is renowned for being one of the true innovators within the hard dance spectrum. An AK set is more than just your average DJ set. It is as much of an experience as an education in. A constant morphing of style and inspiration means that each set is an elaborate and imaginative onslaught of beats, samples and technical wizardry, all packaged up by one of the most entertaining and engaging performers that the festival stages have ever seen.

From EDC in Las Vegas and Tomorrow-lands in Belgium to Defqon in Netherlands to Club Ageha in Tokyo; The Kidd has taken centre stage in all corners of the world. 2014 highlights included numerous sold out events from Basscon in LA (USA) to Club Must in Seoul (South Korea). And how could we forget the Main stage appearances in Music Circus in Osaka as well as his Tokyo debut that saw Alex Kidd dominate the Japanese fans and achieve cult-like status.
With regular tours throughout Asia, Australia, North America and Europe as well as his residency’s at Goodgreef in UK and Q- Dance’s sister brand QULT in the Netherlands – 2015 is set to blow into overdrive.
The summer festival schedule is as busy as ever but with time set aside to focus on new productions, remixes and collaborations and with fresh new sounds forming in the studio, prepare for a real evolution in this chapter of Kidd’s future. Combined with a forthcoming residency at one of Ibiza’s super clubs…soon to be announced – it’s safe to say sleep is at the back of the agenda !
The brainchild of Alex Kidd comes in the form of Kiddfectious and this year we see the label take its branded events to Ireland, South Korea and Australia as well as playing host to it’s own Kiddfectious arena at Xstatic Festival 2015
KIDDSTOCK 2015 will witness Alex Kidd’s festival take over an awe – inspiring Beach Location (check www.kiddstockfestival.com) and is testament to a pioneering artist, leading the way forward with the UK’s only hard dance beach festival. 5 arena’s and thousands in attendance – Kiddstock is back with an almighty bang !
Musically his releases have been covering a whole spectrum of the industry, from underground club hits on Q dance’s Qult label to crossover releases on Gareth Emery’s Garuda imprint. Recent successes have earned him the honour of signing a deal with Music All Star Publishing who will now support and guide the Kidd’s ever changing studio output towards the masses.
Alex Kidd is one of dance’s music’s true investors, be it through his own productions, events and performance or through his support and dedication in tomorrow’s stars. This unadulterated passion and energy has been the reason for his success so far, and the reason that he will continue his reign both in and out of the limelight for many years to come.
